Ricerca Biosciences

Lawrence (Bob) Lima III, Ph.D., has been named director of analytical chemistry at Ricerca Biosciences. Dr. Lima joins a team that provides a combination of integrated pharmaceutical development services and analytical problem solving capabilities. He will assist in creating a strategy that will expand this department, focused on delivering technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

“From providing analytical support for Ricerca’s preclinical drug development programs to characterizing drugs manufactured in Ricerca’s kilogram and pilot plants and identifying impurities in a client’s drug product, Dr. Lima will manage one of Ricerca’s largest and most diversified departments,” stated Rich Donaldson, Ph.D., vice president of chemical development at Ricerca. “We are excited for him to share his expertise with us.”

Prior to joining the company, Dr. Lima’s experience included positions directing analytical departments at other CROs and also serving as a Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) team leader for pharmaceutical companies. He has directed and led the CMC activities of novel drug products from discovery through commercial launch.
